CM Yogi calls for ‘extra vigil’ in 7 districts, special precaution in border areas including Noida, Ghaziabad

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh government is leaving nothing to chance, when it comes to combating Coronavirus in the state. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has been holding regular review meetings to assess Covid-19 situation in various districts and directing officials to stay one step ahead of the contagious virus.

Directing to maintain all facilities in Covid-19 hospitals, UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that all these hospitals should also be well-equipped with the necessary medicines and medical equipment. Doctors should also take regular rounds in the hospitals and it should be ensured that the paramedic staff also does intensive monitoring of the patients.

The Chief Minister, who was presiding over the unlock review meeting in the Lok Bhawan, also instructed to maintain vigil in the Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Meerut, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Gautambuddha Nagar and Ghaziabad districts.

Directing for special precaution in the border areas of UP adjoining Delhi in view of the Covid-19, the CM said that the Minister for Medical Education should review the health services of Ghaziabad and the Health Minister should review the health services of Gautam Budh Nagar.

Coronavirus

People should be constantly made aware about Covid-19 through public address system and it should also be ensured that the Integrated Command and Control Center should work actively. The CM also directed to maintain the surveillance system and contact system effectively.

The CM has also directed to be in constant communication with the people living in home quarantine and to take their regular health feedback. It should also be ensured that they have pulse oximeter and infrared thermometer. Home quarantine facility should not be given to corona positive people of high risk group and they should be kept in the Covid-19 hospital. Safety and cleanliness arrangements should be ensured on Chhath festival.

The CM has also directed to organise programs focusing on the preamble of the constitution in all the institutions on 26th November which happens to be the Constitution Day. He has also instructed to make all arrangements timely for the programmes that are to be organised on the Gopashtami.

The State Government is committed to provide all facilities to the investors as per the policies of the State Government as UP has good infrastructure facilities and a favourable environment for investment. The CM has also directed that investors should not have any inconvenience in setting up their venture in the state.
