Coronavirus Outbreak: Kolkata woman arrested for spreading false alarm
She had posted the message in the parents whatsapp group and when Police questioned her,she had no basis to her claims.
As India is under lockdown, Kolkata Police has cracked the whip on fake news being circulated about the COVID-19 alert by a lady.

The lady in Behala area was arrested for circulating a fake whatsapp on social media,claiming there are 15 Covid-19 cases in New Alipore area which the government is not revealing.
Police got hold of the details on Sunday and the lady was identified as a mother of a child who goes to ‘Kangaroo Kids’ montessori school in New Alipore.
She had posted the message in the parents whatsapp group and when Police questioned her,she had no basis to her claims.
The lady is being charged under section 505(1)(b) IPC which is intent to cause alarm in the public domain.She is being produced in court
