Delhi: ‘Sita Ji Ki Rasoi’ offers free food to people amid pandemic, netizens laud move

New Delhi: Sita Ji Ki Rasoi, an eatery based in the national capital’s Rohini area is providing food free of cost. A video of the noble act was shared by a food blogger,  Abhishek, on his Instagram account namely ‘The Foodie Hat’. The video has gone viral on social media and is also receiving good response from netizens.

Started by Granth Trust and Foundation

The unique idea of Sita Ji Ki Rasoi focusing on those who cannot afford food due to any cause has been launched by the Granth Trust and Foundation. One can visit the National capital’s Rohini sector 7 to eat the food. Reportedly, they provide unlimited lunch between 12 to 2 pm.

Although they provide food without any cost, one can also pay just Rs 10 for a plate to support them. Reportedly, a plate includes rice, chapatti, some kind of dal or vegetables, as per the availability.

Video going viral on Instagram

The viral video was shared by ‘The Foodie Hat’ on Instagram on January 1. It starts with a Rs 10 note being held by a man in hand. Furthermore, the cameraman shows a woman is serving rice, dal, and chapatti on a plate. In the end, few people can be seen enjoying food at the dining table.

So far, it has received over 4 lakh views and 1400 comments. Moreover, the post has also received good reactions from netizens.
