New Delhi: As Delhi is under complete lockdown for 6 day-from yesterday night due to surge in covid-19 case. The announcement was made after national capital reported 25,462 new coronavirus cases and 161 deaths on Sunday. However, Arvind Kejriwal after announcing a weekend curfew in Delhi from 10 pm on April 16 till 6 am on April 19, he said that citizens engaged with essential services will be allowed, they will need to produce an e-pass. Delhi government order read that District Magistrates will be responsible for the issuance of e-passes. Delhi curfew e-pass: Steps to apply -Go to e-pass portal of Delhi government: https://epass.jantasamvad.org/epass/init/ -Click on the link to apply for e-pass -Enter your name, contact number, district, among others, and upload a government ID proof. -Submit your request along with a letter from the employer or establishment -Click on 'Submit' button. -After submitting the form, an e-pass number will be generated -After e-pass confirmation, the applicant will receive an SMS. -Download the e-pass on the mobile or a hard copy can be printed.
