New Delhi: Residents of Deoghar in Jharkhand on Monday lighted diyas ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city on Tuesday. A few photos of the people lighting up diyas are also being widely shared. During his visit to the city, PM Modi will lay a foundation and inaugurate projects worth Rs 16,000 crore.
Inauguration of Deoghar Airport
On that day, PM Modi will inaugurate the Deoghar Airport, which is going to be the second international airport in the state. Notably, he himself laid the foundation stone of the project in 2018.
Besides, he will lay the foundation stones for a new AIIMS in the district.
