I give you my word, Maha govt will take you home: Uddhav Thackeray to migrant labourers

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday attached properties of Uddhav Thackeray’s brother-in-law Madhav Patankar, amounting to Rs 6.45 crore.

The agency froze Rs 6.45 crore movable assets in alleged money laundering case, officials said.

According to reports, the ED attached 11 residential units in ‘Neelambari’ project in Thane, belonging to Shree Saibaba Grihanimiti Pvt Ltd which is owned by Patankar.

The move comes after Shiv Sena accused the Centre & BJP govt of selectively targeting opposition ruled states by misusing the Central agencies.

Days ago, Shiv Sena Sanjay Raut had called ED, an ATM of BJP and also revealed that some officers of the agency were being probed by the Mumbai Police.

“Mark my words, some ED officials will go to jail,” Raut had claimed.

Maharastra minister Aditya Thackeray had also slammed the central agencies and called them ‘publicity machinery’ of the saffron party.
