Cong spokesperson Alok Sharma also said that 4-5 parties of the 38 parties aligning with NDA are in touch with them and will join them in coming days.

Seat sharing formula

While the INDIA bloc presents itself as a united alliance with its eyes & goals firmly fixed on dislodging the NDA from power but the differences & divide has become increasingly visible with alliance partners speaking in different voices. However, the top leadership has maintained that Mumbai Conclave will settle all.

A Convenor & co-ordination committee will be formed that will iron out differences within and will oversee seat sharing formula.

Cong leader Milind Deora informed recently that the seat sharing in most states was in ‘final stages’ for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
