In UP’s Balia, Tehsildar threatened by BJP MLA Ketaki Singh; aide hurls abuses; VIDEO surfaces

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Ketaki Singh was caught on camera threatening Tehsildar in Balia district while a party worker who accompanied her hurled expletives.

BJP MLA was furious over the proposed demolition of house of a poor family during the demolition drive. The house was reportedly built on government land and bulldozers were deployed for removing the illegal encroachments.

Ketaki Singh, the legislator went on to warn the government officer that if the house of poor man is demolished, she will set the Tehsil on fire. As the video of legislator & her aides intimidating the Tehsildar & Lekhpal landed on social media, it went viral and drew strong reactions.

“You have the power of bulldozers, so you took them. We have the power of words. Shouldn’t you asked before using bulldozers? Had you demolished the house, I would set the entire tehsil ablaze,” the MLA can be heard saying in video.

Along with Ketaki Singh, former Pradhan Raju Dubey can be seen in the video, hurling abuses & expletives at the Tehsildar. All the while, the Tehsildar kept his composure and tried to placate the agitated legislator and her aides.
