New Delhi: The Opposition parties on Day 2 of its Bengaluru meet agreed upon a new name to challenge the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Lok Sabha Elections, slated for next year.
Revealing the new name of an alliance which marks coming together of at least 26 parties, spokesperson of constituent parties including RJD, Shiv Sena tweeted about the impending NDA-INDIA fight.
All the letters of INDIA stand for a word, which are I – India, N – National, D-Democratic, I – Inclusive, A – Alliance.
The newly formed India National Democratic Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) will challenge the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the next year elections.
These 26 parties in Bengaluru for two days, behind the closed doors and finalized on a new name & identify for the alliance that will bring together Opposition and pose a direct challenge to BJP regime.
Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi took to Twitter to announce that Lok Sabha 2024 contest will be between “Team INDIA and Team NDA”. She said, “So 2024 will be. Team INDIA Vs Team NDA. Chak De, INDIA!”

RJD also took to Twitter to say that BJP will get unnerved over taking name of ‘INDIA.’
