‘Ink attack’ on AAP’s Sanjay Singh as he visits Hathras victim’s family

Ink was hurled at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh as he visited Hathras to meet family members of the alleged gangrape victim.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh faced ink attack today, as he visited Hathras to meet family members of the alleged gangrape victim.

A delegation of AAP leaders led by Sanjay Singh today went to Hathras to express solidarity with the victim’s family.

An unknown  attacked hurled ink at the AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP and was also heard chanting, “PFI agents, go back.. go back. He has been arrested by UP Police. His name is said to be Deepak Sharma.

Meanwhile, the AAP has blamed BJP for the ‘ink attack’ on Sanjay Singh. Tweeting photos of the same, it said “Yogi government’s black deeds will come to light soon.”

As AAP workers tried to create chaos, the UP Police used mild lathicharge to dispers the protesters.

Hathras has become favourite hotspot of political parties as they make a beeline to visit the family members of alleged gangrape victim. UP government is facing brickbats for its shoddy handling of the case but the ‘political tourism’ by opposition parties to non-descript town is also not getting due appreciation from locals.
