He claimed, citing a report, that Congress leader prefers to sit inside the comforts of bus while his ‘body double’ stands outside for greeting & waving the public.

New Delhi: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday lambasted Rahul Gandhi & Congress over latter’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and series of controversies arising out it, while it traverses through the North-Eastern state.

The Chief Minister, addressing the press, came down hard on the grand old party and leveled many charges including hatching of conspiracy and instigation of communal violence in the state.

Himanta Sarma also posed a question about Rahul Gandhi, which left everyone puzzled & perplexed.

“Is Rahul Gandhi using body double in party’s nyay yatra,” CM Sarma asked citing a news report by a local publication.

He claimed, citing a report, that Congress leader prefers to sit inside the comforts of bus while his ‘body double’ stands outside for greeting & waving the public.

He further claimed that his ‘Congress friends’ confided in him that the bus had ample space & room for hosting 7-8 people and Rahul spends most of his time there.

Himanta Biswa Sarma also lashed out at the Congress over its ‘soft’ approach shifting to left-liberal. He claimed that the party has ‘jettisoned’ Gandhian principles and adopted Left-wing approach, thus leading to its downfall.

He also dubbed the party as ‘soft naxalite’.
