Kanpur Encounter: Vikas Dubey received phone call hours before the raid, claims Gangster’s aide

The Uttar Pradesh Police has suspended a Station House Officer (SHO) on allegations that he was involved in the killings of the eight policemen.

New Delhi: Daya shankar Agnihotri, one of the accomplice of gangster Vikas Dubey who was arrested has opened up on Kanpur encounter after being interrogated by the police.

The caught accused has made a big disclosure about the incident.

In a new development in the gruesome incident,  Agnihotri claimed that Dubey had received a phone call before the police team came to arrest him.


He added that Dubey had called around 25-30 people and had fired shots at the police. In his defence, Agnihotri said, “I was locked inside the house at the time of encounter. Therefore, I saw nothing.” Dubey has been on the run from the law enforcement authorities.

Meanwhile,  the Uttar Pradesh Police has suspended a Station House Officer (SHO) on allegations that he was involved in the killings of the eight policemen. Also on Saturday, Dubey’s house, where the killings took place, was demolished by the police.
