Kashi Vishwanath Dham: Special arrangements for Divyang and elderly devotees

When the devotees will take a bath in the River Ganga and walk straight towards the Darbar of Baba Vishwanath ( distance of 400 meters) to see ‘Kashipuradhipati’, they will not have to take the help of stairs.

New Delhi: After taking the dive of faith in the River Ganga in Varanasi, the elderly and differently-abled devotees will no longer have to face any difficulty in reaching the Darbar of Baba Vishwanath as the Yogi government has installed services like escalators, lifts and ramps for a smoother commute.

With this, the whole world would be able to see Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s determination to expand and beautify Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple.

PM Modi and CM Yogi have always thought of making the entire Vishwanath Dham easy and accessible for every devotee who comes to Baba’s Darbar. In this regard, the state government has taken care of the comfort of the tourists.

Varanasi Divisional Commissioner and Chairman of Kashi Vishwanath Temple Executive Committee Deepak Aggarwal said, “Devotees will take blessings of Baba Vishwanath without climbing stairs. For this, escalators and lifts have been installed and ramps have been made from Ganga Ghat to the temple premises.”

With this, elderly and differently-abled devotees will be able to easily take blessings of Mahadev and can perform ‘Abhishek’. Apart from this, devotees coming by the water route will also be able to take advantage of it.

It is noteworthy that PM Modi will dedicate Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham to the people on December 13, 2021.
