New Delhi: Stressing the importance of preserving and promoting local products and initiatives to strengthen the goal of a ‘self-reliant’ India, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on National Technology Day urged the Uttar Pradesh citizens to use indigenously developed apps like Koo.

While interacting with Koo app’s Founders Aprameya Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidawatka in Lucknow on Wednesday, the Chief Minister said, “People must utilise and support indigenously developed apps like Koo. Koo being India’s own language-based micro-blogging platform should be used by the people of the state to connect with the initiatives of the government.”

On the occasion, the Chief Minister also spoke about his vision of digitally empowering the people of the state. “Technology should be used to eliminate the gap between the people and the government so that every needy person is benefitted,” he said.

On the occasion Aprameya Radhakrishna, CEO and Co-Founder of Koo also praised CM Yogi, saying, “It was a pleasure to meet CM Yogi Adityanath today and to hear his vision of creating a deeper connection between the people and the Government for faster updates and resolving citizen issues.”

As Koo has a very large population from the state of Uttar Pradesh, discussions were held on empowering many more citizens to connect easily with the Government and to enable dialogues between the citizens and the Government for better governance and smoother redressals.

The Chief Minister also encouraged the citizens to use Koo and promote Aatmanirbhar products.
