“He used to deliver 6-8 packages earlier, while now he delivers then 15-20 packages while moving around on the motorbike”

New Delhi: Delivering food on a daily basis, that too in the scorching heatwave conditions on a bicycle is an unimaginable condition for anyone.

Though, in the present time, most of us are addicted to outside food. Especially, seeing the temperature we often decide to order food at home.

Undoubtedly, this saves our time and energy while some superheroes steps outside every day beating all the weather conditions to serve us our favorite food at our doorstep.

However, kindness costs nothing and means everything. And the fact is sometimes we need little kindness.

In a recent incident, Indore police showed a humanitarian gesture by collecting money and purchasing a motorbike for 22 years old food delivery boy, who used to deliver meals on bicycle.

Vijay Nagar police station in-charge Tehzeeb Qazi on Monday night patrolling said, he saw Jay Halde bathed with sweat while cycling fast to deliver a food parcel to a location in the area.

After having a conversation with Jay’s family, officials came to know that his financial condition is not good.

So Qazi and other officials from Vijay Nagar Police Station decided among themselves to purchase a motorbike for the delivery boy. Initial payments for the initiative were recently made and a bike was bought for Halde.

When asked for the kind gesture, Qazi said, “He used to deliver 6-8 packages earlier, while now he delivers then 15-20 packages while moving around on the motorbike”.

Officials also added that the delivery boy told them that he will pay them back in installments.
