Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray tests positive for Covid-19, says Kamal Nath

Earlier today, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari after testing positive for Covid was admitted to a private hospital in south Mumbai.

New Delhi: Amidst the political crisis in the state, the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray has been tested Covid-19 positive on June 22, said Kamal Nath.

The Shiv Sena-led party is witnessing a political crisis following indifferences by a group of MLAs headed by Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Eknath Shinde. The revolt has initiated speculations that the MLAs might join the BJP in a bid to fight against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government.
