New Delhi: It was a close shave for 4 people traveling in their car on Meerut road, as they escaped unhurt while their car was dragged for almost 3 kms by a long container truck.
The 22-wheels truck, with a drunk driver at the wheels, was seen dragging the car for 3 kms on Meerut’s road in Uttar Pradesh while those witness to the incident watch it in horror.
The frightening video when landed on social media, left the netizens stunned & stupefied. The incident was caught on camera, reportedly by one of the bystanders.
In the viral clip, the giant container truck can be seen ramming into the car and then dragging for a long distance. However, it came as a lucky escape for those travelling in the car. All 4 occupants of the car managed to jump out of the car without facing any injury.

Reports suggest that the truck could be stopped only after police van chased it for sometime & directed the container driver to stop. Latter has been taken in police custody.
There was reportedly a verbal exchange & altercation between the truck driver & car occupants, following which the shocker unfolded in full public view.
The shocking incident has gain brought under spotlight, fresh concerns about rash driving.
