Mission Kisan Kalyan: Yogi govt to launch farmer centric scheme for bringing prosperity in their lives

Under the initiative ‘ Mission Kisan Kalyan’, the state government aims to increase income of the farmers by encouraging and persuade farmers to time their cultivation of crops with the demand in market.

New Delhi: After empowering women and youths via Mission Shakti and Mission Rozgar, Yogi Adityanath government is set to launch ‘Mission Kisan Kalyan’ for drastically improving life of farmers.

Yogi govt will launch `Mission Kisan Kalyan’ on January 06 aimed at creating awareness among farmers lot about how to reduce the cost of agriculture by using fertilizer in a balanced manner. The campaign will cover 350 blocks of the rural areas of the state in about 3 weeks.

Under Mission Shakti, state government sought to empower women and daughters of the state by promoting their participation in society and adding another layer of security for them.

Under ‘Mission Rozgaar’, youths get employment and self-employment opportunities. This has now been extended to the farmers.

The mission aims to make agriculture profitable and the most effective way is agricultural diversification. For this, all the departments related to agriculture have been included in the campaign.

The campaign will focus on maintaining a direct dialogue with farmers.

“In the seminars and interactive sessions, the experts of krishi vigyan kendras will be imparting their expertise about the advanced techniques of farming and how to increase their income,” an official informed.

Along with giving contemporary information about saving the existing Rabi crops, the concerned departmental officers will be giving solutions on preventing the next crops from any damage. The farmers will also be distributed the Kisan Credit Cards at the programme.
