Modi fan Yusuf installs his photo at home, landlord threatens him ‘remove or will throw out’ (VIDEO)

Yusuf, a resident of Pir gali of Indore lodged a complaint with the police claiming that his landlord was harassing him for installing a portrait of Narendra Modi in his room.

New Delhi: In a rare instance of landlord’s excesses & highhandedness over someone’s political ideology, a person in Indore received threats from his landlord for installing a photo of his favourite leader Narendra Modi at his home.

Yusuf, a resident of Pir gali of Indore lodged a complaint with the police claiming that his landlord was harassing him for installing a portrait of Narendra Modi in his room.

The startling revelation brings to light overbearing attitude of landlords Yakub Mansoori and Sultan Mansoori, who wanted the tenant to follow their diktat.

The Mansoori brothers not only ‘humiliated’ Yusuf for his political affiliation but also ‘forced him’ to change his ideological inclination. Following this, the tenant approached Jansunwai (public hearing) forum at Police Commissioner office for lodging complaint.

“Either you remove PM Modi’s portrait from the house or be ready to be thrown out of the house,” the landlords warned the tenant.

Yusuf said that as landlords started threatening him to kick out of the house, he decided to raise the matter in the Jansunwai forum.

Police officers were also taken aback at Yusuf’s complaint. Additional DCP Manisha Pathak Soni later told newsmen that the matter has been taken note of and Sadar Bazar TI has been told to probe the matter.

“Complainant said that the landlord is pressuring him to take down the photo of the Prime Minister. This is against the freedom of expression,” Additional DCP Manisha Pathak Soni said.
