Mohan Bhagwat on two-day visit to Tripura, to inaugurate temple in Sarbong

Bhagwat is also slated to visit ‘Sevadham’, the RSS headquarters in Khayerpur area of West Tripura, where he will interact with workers & volunteers.

New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat who is on a two-day visit to Tripura is set to inaugurate a temple of the Shantikali Ashram in Gomati district, located 85 km from the capital Agartala.

During his visit to the Sarbong Ashram of Hindu tribal community at Amarpur, the RSS chief is set to address a small gathering of people.

The Shantikali Ashram is operated by Shantikali Mission Society, which runs a chain of 24 temples across the state.

The Ashram & Mission is named after Acharya Shantikali, a religious preacher and someone who dedicated his entire life for protection of religion, justice & policy. He was killed by insurgents in 2000.

Bhagwat is also slated to visit ‘Sevadham’, the RSS headquarters in Khayerpur area of West Tripura, where he will interact with workers & volunteers.

Elaborate security arrangements are in place for the visit of RSS chief Mohab Bhagat, who also enjoys Z+ security cover.

Reports said that during his stay in Agartala, the RSS chief will also meet Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, newly appointed BJP President Rajiv Bhattacharjee.

Meanwhile, BJP President JP Nadda is also set to visit the state on August 28.
