MP Home Minister takes note of viral video of ‘man being treated like dog’, orders action

In the viral video, a young man can be seen tied to rope while miscreants force him to act & behave like a dog.

New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra on Monday ordered probe into the viral video of a ‘man being treated like a dog’ on Bhopal streets and called for quick action against the offenders.

“Such behaviour against a human being is condemnable. I have given orders to Bhopal Police Commissioner to authenticate the veracity (of the viral video) and take action within 24 hours,” said Home Minister Narottam Mishra while taking note of the video.


Home Minister’s statement comes after a highly distasteful & obnoxious video started circulating on social media, in which a man is put on leash and treated like a dog. The incident reportedly happened in Bhopal, however, the date & time are yet to be ascertained.

In the viral video, a young man can be seen tied to rope while miscreants force him to act & behave like a dog. The viral video shows a group of hooligans shackling the man, reportedly from other community and threatening to abuse & molest his female family members including sister & mother.

The attackers reportedly thrashed the man before tying him up in chain and also forced him to bark like a dog.
The shocking & startling incident that was recorded on camera is creating anger & outrage on social media. Many people vented anger over the inhumane act and more so against the hatred meted out to man on leash.
