New Delhi: The entire nation is under lockdown, with people staying inside their homes, religious places being shut to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. However, incidents of flouting lockdown norms keep coming in from across the country and the violators are eventually punished by the law enforcers.

This incident is of a mosque in Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh, where a group of people assembled for offering Friday prayers at the mosque.

When the district administration got a whiff of such gathering at mosque, officials along with police personnel reached the venue. As they saw the cops arriving, many fled from the spot while some were caught by the police for violating the lockdown norms.

A video of the incident is also being shared on social media, where the police personnel are seen beating up the violators with sticks.All those who were caught in violation of lockdown have been booked under sections 188, 269, 270 while 6 of them have been sent to jail.
