New Delhi: Enforcement Directorate (ED) served notice to Congress President Sonia Gandhi and MP Rahul Gandhi in National Herald case. The case was closed by the investigating agency in 2015.
Congress leader Randeep Surjewala, talking about the same said that Modi govt is trying to supress like the British did and ED is being used for this.
He said that the National Herald newspaper was started in 1942, at that time the British tried to suppress it.
Congress MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi also informed that Sonia Gandhi will appear on the said date if required.
However, the party will write to the probe agency where they will seek some accommodation for Rahul Gandhi.
