On 1 year of Modi 2.0, Prime Minister’s audio message to the nation

New Delhi: Prime Minister Modi released an audio message addressing the nation to mark the first anniversary of Modi 2.0. PM Modi lauded the country for its efforts in fighting the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic. He said that migrant workers and labourers have suffered “tremendously” during the coronavirus pandemic and the countrywide lockdown enforced to contain it.

Prime Minister Modi was sworn-in for a second successive term on May 30 last year after leading BJP-led NDA to a landslide victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The Prime Minister termed the day as “golden chapter” in the history of Indian democracy, pointing out that it was after several decades that the people of the country voted back a full-term government with a full majority.
