“Pakistan or China…anywhere”: Ravi Kishan on I.N.D.I.A MPs visit to Manipur

The actor-turned-politician also lambasted the Opposition block for moving a No-confidence motion in Parliament, against the Centre.

New Delhi: With Opposition parties obstructing the functioning of Parliament over Manipur horror for a week now, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Kishan made a sharp retort on its likely visit to the strife-torn state.

The BJP MP taking a jibe at Opposition alliance I.N.D.I.A’s proposed visit to Manipur, said, “Pakistan, Sri Lanka or China…They can go wherever they want,”

Notably, the Opposition parties have stood firm on their demand for extensive debate on Manipur horror and demanding Prime Minister’s statement on the horrendous treatment of women in the state and also about government’s abject failure in maintaining the law & order in state.

The actor-turned-politician also lambasted the Opposition block for moving a No-confidence motion in Parliament, against the Centre.

He said that the Opposition has laid the ground for its own ‘rout’ in the House as its duplicity and partisanship will be exposed during the debate.

He called the Opposition ‘brainless & directionless’ and said that for debate to begin on No-confidence motion, it will take at least 10 days but they are resorting to new tactics to stall the proceedings of house.

“They brought the motion to beat themselves hollow and the country will see that,” he said.

The BJP-led NDA has backing of 331 MPs in the Lok Sabha and looks rather insulated from any harm but Congress insists that it will be ‘morality test’ rather than majority test and will throw surprising outcome.
