New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to his home state Gujarat has inaugurated Sardar Patel Zoological Park, popularly known as Jungle Safari, in Gujarat's Narmada district on Sardar Patel's 145th birth anniversary. Sardar Patel Zoological in Kevadia has been set up near the 182-metre Statue of Unity. After inaugurating the outlet, PM Modi spent a considerable amount of time at stalls selling traditional items from Jammu and Kashmir and the north-east region. The mall, developed on the theme of Unity in Handicraft & Handloom Diversity, is spread across 35,000 square feet near the 182-metre tall Statue of Unity at Kevadiya in Gujarats Narmada district.
