‘Praying for criminal is an unforgiving crime’: Posters crop up in AMU against VC for condoling Kalyan Singh’s death

Kalyan Singh Demise: He said that Kalyan Singh played an important role in the public life and development of Uttar Pradesh.

New Delhi: A poster has been put up describing VC Tariq Mansoor’s act as an ‘unforgiving crime’ inside the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) campus.

This comes after AMU Vice-Chancellor Prof Tariq Mansoor condoled the death of former UP CM and former Governor of Rajasthan Kalyan Singh.

The poster read that that the condolent words of the Vice Chancellor on the death of Kalyan Singh is not only a matter of shame but it also hurts religious sentiments. It further said that Kalyan Singh is not only a main culprit in the demolition of Babri Masjid but also an offender of disdain with regard to the Supreme Court order.

Prof Tariq Mansoor also conveyed his condolences to late Kalyan Singh’s son Rajveer Singh.
