New Delhi: As Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra began its second leg of journey after a nine-day break, it was joined by his sister and Congress General Secretary & in-charge of UP Congress, Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday.

In gushing praise for the former Congress president, she said, “My big brother, have the highest regard for you.”

While she showered lavish praise on Rahul for his integrity & grit, the environment was charged up with loud cheers by the party workers.

Priyanka saluted Rahul’s determination & resolve in standing up for people’s causes and lashed out at the Centre. She accused the latter of applying all tricks to discredit the yatra as well as tarnish Rahul’s image.

“The Centre resorted to shenanigans & mischievous tactics to bring bad press to you. It spent hundreds of crores to malign your reputation. It pressed agencies against you and tried to implicate you in false cases. But, you didn’t deviate from your path. You are a warrior, I have highest regard for you,” Priyanka said to loud cheers from the rally.

Priyanka also invoked the leading businessmen tycoons of the country including the Ambanis & Adanis and claimed that they have acquired all big institutions of the country, bought media houses but they haven’t succeeded in ‘bending’ my brother.

She also challenged the high & mighty and those sitting in positions of power to deviate Rahul from his path.

Priyanka Gandhi joined the Yatra today, in presence of Delhi & UP Congress leaders. The Padyatra flag was handed over to Delhi & UP Congress leaders, from where it entered Ghaziabad’s Loni border, being welcomed by workers lined up at roads.
