Before the announcement of the budget, Gehlot said in his tweet that a separate Krishi Budget will be presented too for the farmers for the first time in the history of the state.

However, all the announcements in the budget could not grab the headline over one. It was about gifting iPhone 13 to its 200 MLAs.

Rajasthan government under the leadership of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot bought 250 smartphones from Apple to gift MLAs.

MLAs will get the iPhone 13 that will be loaded with a digital copy of the budget. It is important to note, a iPhone 13 comes at about Rs 75,000 to Rs 1 Lakh. If we consider 1 lakh Rs for an iPhone, 250 phones will cost Rs 2.5 crore.

It is reported that this is not the first time the Rajasthan government has given luxuries electronic gadgets.
