Raksha Bandhan 2022 Special Train: Indian Railways to run special trains, Details here

New Delhi: As the festival of Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated this week, preparation for the upcoming celebration has commenced and a huge rush  and demands for tickets can be seen on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival.

Keeping the demand on mind, the Western Railway has decided to run six special trains.

These special trains will run between, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The Railways  have announced 12 new special trains and also reported the routes and timings.

Every year the festival of Raksha Bandhan is celebrated during the month of Sawan.

This year, the festival of Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated on August 11, while some are saying that Rakhi will also be celebrated on August 12th.
