New Delhi: Friday saw widespread protests across the country by the Muslim community, apparently livid over ‘insulting’ remarks on Prophet Muhammad by suspended BJP spokespersons.
Debate is on whether it was an outpouring of emotion or orchestrated protests with an aim to create anarchy, the disturbing visuals of violence & stone-pelting painted a grim picture of the country.
While the Yogi government has begun clamp down and is rounding up suspects for violence during demonstrations, Mrityunjay Kumar, the media adivsor of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today said ‘Every Friday is followed by Saturday’, leaving enough hints that every time law & order goes awry, bulldozers will roll in to control the situation.
‘Remember, every Friday is followed by a Saturday’, he said in a cryptic tweet while posting picture of Bulldozer.

His tweet comes in the backdrop of Yogi govt’s clear guidelines to deal sternly with the stone-pelters & rioters and hence implies that even in future, those agitators taking law into their hands will be punished by the bulldozer action.
Uttar Pradesh saw slew of protests in varoius cities and it turned violent in Saharanpur & Prayagraj. Days ago, Kanpur became the epicentre of violence as violent protesters clashed with the police and ran amok on the streets unleashing mayhem.
‘Saturday is Bulldozer Day’, says Haryana BJP IT in-charge
Haryana BJP IT in-charge Arun Yadav also said that Saturday should be declared as bulldozer day.
“Now Friday being stone day, Saturday should be declared as bulldozer day,” Arun Yadav wrote in a tweet.
