New Delhi: Speaking for the first time on the exit of Jyotiraditya Scindia, a top Congress leader and his right hand, Rahul Gandhi took a sharp jibe at his former aide.

Rahul Gandhi, breaking his silence on his exit from Congress said, Jyotiraditya Scindia could have become chief minister with the Congress but has become a backbencher in the BJP.

Addressing Youth Wing of the party about the importance of organisation, Gandhi reportedly youth members, “He (Scindia) would have become the Chief Minister had he stayed with Congress but Scindia has become a backbencher in the BJP.

Fight off RSS, Rahul’s message to youth brigade

“Scindia had the option to strengthen the organisation by working with Congress workers. I told him – One day you will become the Chief Minister. But he chose another route,” he said further.
He also instructed the Youth party workers to fight the ideology of RSS and not be afraid of anyone.

Scindia had resigned from the Congress party and joined the BJP in March last year.

Jyotiraditya Scindia had quit Congress and joined BJP in March 2020. His cross-over to BJP was apparently among the biggest political news of the year and rightly generated a stretched-out political blame-game.
