Second Delhi-Varanasi Vande Bharat: Check train timings, ticket fare & more

As per the information shared by Indian Railways, the train is equipped with the state-of-the art technology and loaded with all modern passenger facilities.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to launch second Vande Bharat Express train from the national capital to Varanasi, his Lok Sabha constituency on Monday.

The second Vande Bharat train between the two cities will be saffron in colour and equipped with all modern features & technology.

Vande Bharat train timings:

Though, the train will see its inaugural run from Varanasi to New Delhi on December 18, the Vande Bharat Express will start its regular operations from December 20, 2023.It will cross through many cities while plying on New Delhi-Varanasi route which include Prayagraj, Kanpur Central, Itawa, Tundle and Aligarh.

During its normal course, the train will begin from Varanasi at 6 Am and will reach Delhi at 2.05. It will then leave for Kashi at 3 PM and reach its destination at around midnight. The Vande Bharat train will be operational for six days a week except Tuesday.

Ahead of its launch, the Northern Railway in a press statement said, “The train has superior passenger amenities such as onboard Wi-Fi infotainment, GPS-based passenger information system.”

Vande Bharat Ticket Booking:

The ticket booking for the second Vande Bharat train between Delhi & Varanasi will begin from Monday.

As per the information shared by Indian Railways, the train is equipped with the state-of-the art technology and loaded with all modern passenger facilities.

The train will have facilities like Wi-Fi infotainment, GPS-based passenger information system, bio-vaccum toilets, charging points on every seat and also roller blinds.

It will have “better heat ventilation and air-conditioning system with UV lamp for germ-free supply of air. The AC conditioning will have option to adjust itself according to changing weather conditions.
