Shivraj Singh Chouhan meets ‘ladli behnas’, gets emotional as they bemoan his exit (VIDEO)

New Delhi: Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the former Madhya Pradesh chief minister turned emotional as he met a group of women supporters/’ladli behnas’ on Tuesday.

The former MP CM was seen teary-eyed and in an emotional state as the ‘ladli behnas’ cried and wept while bemoaning his exit as the Chief Minister.

The heartwarming moment was captured on cameras and it also drew enough support & response from netizens as the video landed on social media.

The emotional moment between ‘bhai’ Shivraj and ‘ladli behnas’ unfurled at former’s official residence where a couple of women supporters had assembled to meet him.

The Ladli Laxmi Yojana beneficiaries met the outgoing Chief Minister at his official residence today. While meeting Shivraj Chouhan, they broke into tears and wept over the ouster of Shivraj Singh Chouhan. They kept saying ‘we want you back’.

Shivraj tried to console them by saying, ‘he was not going anywhere’ but they kept on shedding tears over his exit from the top post. At one point, Shivraj also got teary-eyed while consoling the ‘laadli behnas’.

Earlier, Shivraj Chouhan, the longest serving BJP chief minister in the state thanked the BJP for giving him a long, uninterrupted stint at the helm and also sought to pacify his enraged supporters with reason that a comman man like him got the chance to lead the state for such long years.

Chouhan also told the press that he was not interested in heading towards Delhi and was quite content in his home state. He said this while replying to buzz that he has been picked for Central role and was about to be fielded from Lok Sabha seat in the Parliamentary elections, slated for next year.

Earlier, he also congratulated the CM-designate Mohan Yadav, Deputy CM-designates Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla.

‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ was first introduced in Madhya Pradesh under his governance. Earlier, a financial assistance of Rs 1,000 was provided to women under this scheme and this got extended to Rs 1250 in August, this year.
