Sushant Rajput case: Mumbai cops register complaint against 5 Bihar policemen

Complaint stated that the Zero FIR which is registered in Bihar, should have been transferred to Mumbai Police as per the law, but without doing so, Bihar police independently conducted ‘illegal’ investigations.

New Delhi: Amid the growing public sparring between Maharashtra and Bihar cops over probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the latter have been charged in Mumbai of illegal practice.

A complaint named Ajay Singh Sengar has been registered at Bandra police station in Mumbai against 5 Bihar policemen, which dubs the investigation by latter as ‘illegal’.

The complainant stated that the investigation done by the Bihar Police was ‘illegal’ and that the ‘Zero FIR’ should have been transferred to the Mumbai Police as per the law.

Bihar Policed lodged FIR on July 25

The Bihar Police had registered an FIR, on Sushant’s father KK Singh’s complaint, on July 25, against Rhea Chakraborty and others on charges of abetment to suicide, cheating, conspiracy, among others.

KK Singh had claimed that Rhea had befriended his son with the sole intention of furthering her career prospects, apart from accusing her of distancing Sushant from the family, stealing his money and valuables, administering to him an overdose of medicines and more.

Had informed Mumbai Police in Feb that Sushant's life was in danger, says actor's father KK SinghA four-member team of the Bihar Police had then arrived in Mumbai. They had then recorded the statements of 10 persons including Ankita Lokhande and Sushant’s sister Meetu.
