
New Delhi: A statue of Swami Vivekananda was vandalised by unidentified persons in Murshidabad district of West Bengal on Friday.
Miscreants vandalised Swami’s statue that was set up at Maa Sharada Nani Devi Sishu Siksha Kendra in Barancha area of Murshidabad.
Police have launched probe into the incident, however, it is yet to get any leads in the case.
Months before, the bust of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar was vandalised at Vidyasagar College during BJP president Amit Shah’s roadshow on May 14.

The incident had triggered huge uproar and heated exchanges among BJP and TMC leaders.
