India raises concerns over removal of Sikh flag

India has condemned the removal of Sikh religious flag, atop the roof of Gurudwara.

“We condemn this act and reiterate India’s firm belief that Afghanistan’s future must be the one where the interests of all sections of the Afghan society, including minorities and women, are protected,” a leading daily reporting quoting govt sources.

Lately, the Afghanistan’s several provinces have been turning out to be flashpoint with clashes breaking out between Afghan security forces and the Talibani militants.

With Taliban increasingly gaining its foothold has been a matter of concern for global powers. US pulled back the majority of its forces and is looking to complete the drawdown by August 31.
