New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) member and leader of opposition in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Rachel Iris in a closed ceremony in Delhi’s Sainik Farms on December 13.
The popular leader and former Chief Minister of Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tejashwi was seen at the Patna airport on Monday, along with wife Rachel, who has now been renamed as Rajshri.
When asked about the ‘Bahu Bhoj’ (Reception after the bringing bride home), Tejashwi said that the reception will take place soon. Venue will be finalized n two or three days.
While replying to the questions raised over the renaming Rachel’s name to Rajshri, Tejashwi told the a leading news daily that there has been no pressure regarding the name change and his wife has chosen the name herself. He further said that the name would be easier for people of Bihar to pronounce.
Meanwhile, congratulations were showered on the newly wedded couple through the microblogging site twitter.
