The benefits of govt schemes being provided without caste-religion discrimination in UP: CM Yogi

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday interacted with the beneficiaries of the government’s public welfare schemes through video conferencing. During this, he transferred a total amount of 315 crores to 1.51 lakh self-help groups and 11,000 BC Sakhis through digital medium.

He said that India got independence in 1947 but in reality since 2014 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the people standing in the last line of the society are getting the benefits of government schemes. Everyone is feeling this change. Today the poor are being given the benefits of government schemes without looking at their caste and religion. “The poor are being given direct benefits of government schemes by linking them with bank accounts, ” said the CM.

CM Yogi was participating in ‘Garib Kalyan Sammelan’ organized in Shimla in the presence of PM Narendra Modi through video conferencing. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak also made their virtual presence on the occasion.

Congratulating the Center on the successful completion of 8 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that in 8 years there were vast changes in the country. The country made a defining mark on a global level, and every scheme of governance was taken to every village, every poor.

“Uttar Pradesh is the only state where every household in the villages is getting banking facilities at their doorsteps through BC Sakhi, signifying the the real change, ” CM Yogi said.

The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister had given the slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ in 2013-14, which seems to be being fulfilled in today’s time. In the last 8 years, more than 3 crore families got houses in the country, 43 and a half lakh poor were given houses in Uttar Pradesh alone.

He said that under PM Awas Yojana, one lakh twenty thousand rupees are given for construction of houses in rural areas and 2.5 lakh rupees in urban areas. The norms have also been relaxed for giving benefits of the scheme in urban areas. “In the survey of 2011-12, the poor whose names were left out, we have linked them with the Chief Minister’s Housing Scheme, due to which castes like Vantangia, Musahar could also be given the benefit of the scheme, ” he pointed out.

Giving information about the construction of toilets, Yogi Adityanath said that more than 11 crore families were given toilets in the country, while in Uttar Pradesh, 2 crore 61 lakhs got the benefit. Along with this, community toilets were constructed in every gram sabha, and women were also given employment from it. These toilets were given the name of ‘Izzatghar’ which was appreciated by the Prime Minister. This,in the process, protected the dignity of women.

The Chief Minister said that 1 crore 67 lakh people were connected with the Ujjwala scheme in the state. Before 2014, people had to face police batons to get gas cylinders in the country. But now these gas cylinders are being given free of cost. Even now we are going to give 2 cylinders free in a year, it will start from this Diwali.

The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh had sufficient land resources, yet the poor were harassed for drinking water. But with the vision of the Prime Minister, now every household is going to get pure RO water under the tap scheme. In urban areas this is happening through AMRUT scheme.

Describing the benefits being given by PM Svanidhi Yojana, the Chief Minister said that this scheme proved helpful in making people self-reliant and self-reliant.

Along with this, he also told that no citizen slept hungry during the Corona period through ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ and Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. “We are determined to make everyone get the benefits of the schemes without any discrimination, ” CM said adding ” the eleventh installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is also going to be available. The central and state governments are ready to bringing the benefits of government schemes to you.”

Appeal to connect daughters with Kanya Sumangala Schemes

BC Sakhi Priyanka Maurya of Sultanpur, Priyanka told the CM that her monthly income was about Rs 26,000 and she managed to open her centre. Appreciating this, the CM said “the work you are doing is an example for the rest of the women of the society.”

The CM also said that due to these schemes of the government, girls were going to school today. All sections of people had started getting the benefit of Kanya Sumangala Yojana without any discrimination.

“Our government has developed every section. Along with this, the Chief Minister also appealed to all the people to connect their daughters with Kanya Sumangala schemes.”

Asked to make Ayushman card for a victim girl Gudiya

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had a virtual dialogue with Gudia of Unnao. He asked Gudiya in a direct dialogue if she got a house and living a dignified life. He asked the officials to make Ayushman medical card for her.
