New Delhi: At least 25 Bollywood actors, directors and producers are set to meet Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, regarding the film city project in Noida/Greater Noida.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at CM Yogi’s residence in Lucknow. The filmmakers include Subhash Ghai, Om Raut of Tanhaji fame, Saundarya, daughter of superstar Rajnikanth, playback singers like Kailash Kher, Udit Narayan and many others.
This is the first such meeting held after Yogi Adityanath’s announcement of the making India’s “biggest and most beautiful” Film City in Gautam Buddh Nagar.

With today’s meet, the Yogi govt will look to fast-track the land allocation as well the film city project.
The Yamuna Expressway Authority has already identified 1000-acre land for the same and sent a proposal to the UP government for approval.
The 1000-acre land for the proposed film city is in Sector-21, having distance of 6 km from the Jewar International Airport and good road connectivity as well.
On Sunday, Madhur Bhandarkar met UP CM and assured of full co-operation from the industry in creation of a mega film city in the state.
Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and singer Anup Jalota have already lauded chief minister Yogi Adityanath for his announcement on film city.
