UP CM Yogi Adityanath has meal at Dalit household in Ayodhya

Establishing that ensuring social justice is the top-most priority of his government, Yogi Adityanath after taking the meal also interacted with Maniram and his family in the dalit locality of Ayodhya.

Lucknow: Giving out a strong message of social harmony and togetherness, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his Ayodhya-visit had a meal at a Dalit household in a slum.

Establishing that ensuring social justice is the top-most priority of his government, Yogi Adityanath after taking the meal also interacted with Maniram and his family in the dalit locality of Ayodhya.

CM Yogi’s gesture not only slammed the previous state governments, for creating divide and indulging in social exploitation during its rule, but also, displayed that his government is espousing the cause of social bonhomie across all sections of the society without any discrimination.

Previously, CM Yogi also had a “khichdi” meal at the residence of a Dalit worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the occasion of Makar Sankranti in Gorakhpur.

Besides, under Yogi government’s new initiative — ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwaar’ — ministers of the state government are also working towards strengthening social harmony by visiting their respective districts.

To realise the above objective, recently in Banda, Minister Jaiveer Singh had a meal at Harikishan Jatav’s place in the slum. Similarly, during his two-day visit to Bareilly, cabinet minister Nand Gopal Nandi had dinner with a Dalit family.

It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister also offered prayers at the Hanuman Garhi temple and the Ram Janmabhoomi temple before having a meal at Maniram’s household.
