UP govt promotes the ‘language of god’, over 8.5 lakh students register for virtual Sanskrit classes

New Delhi: Yogi Adityanath govt’s campaign to promote Sanskrit language in the state is paying off, as students are coming forward to register themselves for learning ‘language of the god’.

The state govt has begun imparting online training to students interested in learning Sanskrit language and speech training.

Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Sansthan recently organized a mass inaugural session of online Sanskrit sambhashan classes to give practical form to Dev vani Sanskrit. In fact, the Sansthan is organising 1 hour classes daily. Under this, free online classes are being organised to reach out to maximum interested candidates.

In the inaugural session of online Sanskrit class, Dr. Vachaspati Mishra, who is Institute’s president and was also the chief guest, conveyed his best wishes to everyone and said that today we can learn to speak Sanskrit in a short time through online medium, for which various opportunities are easily available to us.

Sudhist Kumar Mishra, training head of the institute mentioned the benefits of Sanskrit speech and motivated the participants.

On this occasion, the members of the scheme implementation committee including Dr Ratneshwar Mani Tripathi, Sushil Kumar, Dheeraj Maithani also expressed their views. On this occasion, Dr. Dinesh Mishra, Dr. Chandrakala Shakya etc and other instructors were also present.

Online classes via Google Meet

These classes are conducted by Google Meet by registering 10,000 participants from all the states of the country including Uttar Pradesh through Missed Call. The participants are taking classes through PPT as per the exact syllabus prepared by the institute.

The Sanskrit language instructors of the institute Nootan Vishnu Regmi and Satish Sharma are also training 174 +187=361 students in 2 shifts from Sant Kabir Nagar.

Students can give missed call to join online Sanskrit classes

Under the initiative taken by the institute, 8533 interested learners have registered for the first level Sanskrit language teaching. 27 teachers in 47 groups have started training the registered students through this 20-day online Sanskrit speech classes, which will run from 20 July 2021 to 10 August.

The children will also be taught values and manners, including how they should touch the feet of their parents, do pranam (a respectful salutation), and respect elders, women and the country.
