‘Ignorant’ of UP CMO’s phone call, many govt officers including DMs get notice; to reply in 3 days

In view of the complaints Yogi instructed top officials to call the District Magistrate and Commissioner of all the districts of the state, but in most of the districts no one picked up the phone.

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently issued new instructions to all the officials of the state. The state govt asked all the officers to pick up their phones themselves and listen to the people’s problems. Even after these instruction, there are many officers who did not pick up their official phones.

The Chief Minister’s Secretariat has now sent notices to such officers. This action was taken after CM Yogi constantly received complaints that there are many officers in the state who do not pick up their official phones. In a surprise check, phone call was made to many government officers from the UP CMO but a couple of them didn’t respond.

The Chief Minister’s office has issued notice to complacent officers, who didn’t pick their phones. The officials have been told to reply within three days.

The officials who have been asked tor reply include Mandalayukta, District Magistrate, SP and SSP of many districts. The districts where DM did not pick up the phone are Gautam Budhnagar, Ghaziabad, Siddharthnagar, Gorakhpur, Firozabad, Hapur, Badaun, Aligarh, Kannauj, Santakbir Nagar, Amroha, Pilibhit, Balrampur, Gonda, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Jhansi, Mau, Jalaun, Kushinagar, Auraiya, Azamgarh, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya and Bareilly.

Apart from this, SP-SSP of any district of Agra division did not pick up the phone. At the same time, the SSP of Aligarh, Prayagraj, Kanpur Nagar, Rae Bareli, Kannauj, Auraiya, Kushinagar, Jalaun  also didn’t pickup the call.

All of the officers mentioned above have been asked for a reply, after all why did they not pick up the government phone given for the convenience of the people?
