UP’s Balrampur sees inauguration of 16 projects in a day: CM Yogi has already underlined the importance of Devi Patan division owing to its linkage to Buddha circuit and the need for integrated and inclusive development of this region.

New Delhi: In a significant move, UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday announced development projects worth Rs 500 crore to Balrampur district of Devi Patan division. The announcement, which comes on Day of Navratri holds much significance as the district is a part of Buddha circuit.

The Chief Minister, in a program organized in Police Lines, inaugurated 16 projects while laid the foundation stone for 52 new projects.

In previous press meets, CM Yogi has already underlined the importance of Devi Patan division owing to its linkage to Buddha circuit and the need for integrated and inclusive development of this region.

Out of listed development works, construction of sewerage line in Balramrampur Municipal Corporation is the biggest project costing about Rs 124 crore.

The projects which were inaugurated in Balrampur include 3 higher education schools, polytechnic college, Mini stadium and Rajkiya Ashram Padhdhati Vidyalaya.

Apart from this, women helpline (1090), 80 terminal call centre, 25 pink booth and data analysis centre was also inaugurated by the Chief Minister.

Apart from sewer line, a 220 KW power sub-station at the cost of Rs 121 crores, transit hotel in police line at cost of Rs 16 crore, establishment of ITI for girls in Rehra block and government college at the cost of Rs 12 crore are proposed in the list of developmental works.

Last evening, CM Yogi inaugurated King George Medical University in Balrampur and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical college and hospital in Lucknow.

Addressing the gathering, he said ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is not a mere slogan but a mission which UP govt is trying to realize in every sector.
