New Delhi: Strong build-up of infrastructure and zero-tolerance for law breakers in Uttar Pradesh has put it on the path of rapid progress, said Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya.

He said that Uttar Pradesh is fast becoming the preferred destination for investment and is consistently marching ahead on the path of development.

“With CM Yogi’s consistent efforts and no-nonsense approach on crime and criminals, law & order situation has considerably improved. Earlier, the goons used to run riot, now they are frightened of govt action,” said Deputy CM on last day of the 3-day webinar session for Purvanchal.

“We are also making eco-friendly roads. Herbal road and roads made of plastic and other waste are proof of this. We will connect each lanes with the main road nearby. To motivate the people, roads are being built in the name of martyrs, topper students and famous people,” he further said.

Three-day webinar session was organised in Gorakhpur to brainstorm and prepare a roadmap for bringing transformational changes in Purvanchal region.

Deputy CM expressed hope that with outcome of high-level webinar and government’s dedicated focus, Purvanchal will no longer be the same in near
