New Delhi : A video clip of two men thrashing a UP Police cop is going viral on social media. The incident took place at a model shop situated in Kidwai Nagar in Kanpur, on Sunday, September 03.
Reportedly, the cop was present in the model shop on Sunday night in his uniform, while he took a sip from the drink of a man sitting beside him. When the person opposed to his action, the cop allegedly abused the man stating that he is a cop.
After a massive argument, the person and his friend thrashed the cop inside the model shop. A customer present in the shop caught the incident from his cellphone camera and shared it on social media.
In the video, both the drunk persons can be seen beating the cop ruthlessly. When the cop tried to explain his identity to the accused, they beat him even more severely.

The police have arrested both the accused and the cop, all have been sent for a medical examination.
The cop, who has been identified as Bhuvnesh Kumar is posted in Juhi Police Station, Kanpur. Kumar is told to be absent from his duty since September 26.
