WATCH: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman interacts with vegetable vendor, makes some purchases too

New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday purchased vegetables from the street vendor in Mylapore locality of Chennai in Tamil Nadu.

The video from the vegetable market was shared on the Official Twitter account of Nirmala Sitharaman.

In the video she can be seen buying vegetables and also interacting with some of the vendors.

Nirmala Sitharaman can be seen picking some sweet potato while pictures were also shared in which she was interested in some bitter gourd too.

She interacted with the shopkeepers at the Mylapore market during her day-long tour to Chennai.

Finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman was in Chennai for a single day.

Earlier in the day, she had inaugurated a centre for children with special needs in the city.
