New Delhii: Fresh snowfall lashed several areas of Jammu and Kashmir. On Thursday, Gulmarg and Sonmarg received the season’s first snowfall.
According to the Officials, Sonmarg recieved one inch of snowfall while Gulmarg received over 2 inches of snow bringing excitement and happiness on the face of tourists staying there.
The official also said that Machil, and Gurez also received snowfall while it rained in rest of the Kashmir.
After the snowfall and rain in different parts of Kashmir, the temperatures has gone down and the horticulture department have also issued an advisory where they have advised the growers to quickly harvest the apples.
Also, the official said that the fresh western disturbance was approaching the region and could result in heavy snowfall and rain.
