New Delhi: While Congress unit of Rajasthan remains in the throes of crisis, Rahul Gandhi on 3,500 long Bharat Jodo Yatra, is having a lighter moment with the kids in Kerala.

Congress party on Monday shared a video from its Twitter handle, in which Rahul Gandhi can be seen playing football with the kids in Kerala’s Palakkad.

Rahul leading the party’s padyatra was an eventful day as he could be seen playing football with the kids. While posting the video, Congress wrote, “We have to nurture the future of these kids and for this, every difficulty would be fought.”

The video has gone viral and has garnered thousands of views & likes. In the video clip shared by party, the kids can be seen dressed in purple T-shirt and white shots and playing football on Kerala’s Palakkad streets. The video has gone good traction on the social media, with many people talking about dichotomy of the party and top leaders being ‘disconnected’ with the ground realities.

Congress-ruled state Rajasthan has plunged into crisis as more than 80 MLAs close to CM Ashok Gehlot’s camp reportedly tendered their resignation to Assembly Speaker CP Joshi last night. This comes on back of Ashok Gehlot being ‘shifted’ to Centre and his deputy as well as bête noire Sachin Pilot camp demanding change of guard.

This is for the second time in 2 years that Gehlot-Pilot camp feud has put the party high command in a fix. In July 2020, similar chaos broke out in the Rajasthan unit as Pilot camp rebelled against Gehlot administration, alleging that the latter was abrasive & unmindful of its junior ministers.
