Yogi Adityanath directs officials to make preparations for Covid vaccination in districts with higher infection rates

Directing to strengthen the medical system in KGMU Lucknow, the CM Yogi said that it should also be ensured that senior doctors should take regular rounds and see the patients.

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday gave instructions to continuously maintain the system of prevention and treatment of Covid-19. He said that even a little bit of carelessness can prove to be costly and therefore it is necessary to take full caution and remain alert at every level.

The CM, who was presiding over an unlock review meeting at his official residence, said that the system of prevention and treatment of Covid-19 should further be improved in districts with higher infection rates. He also directed to further strengthen the medical system of Meerut and Lucknow and pay special attention to these districts.

The Integrated Command and Control Centers (ICCC) should be actively operated in all districts. The district magistrates and chief medical officers of all the districts should hold review meetings in the Covid-19 hospitals in the morning and ICCC in the evening daily and the office of the chief secretary and the chief minister’s office should review the status of the meetings.

Directing for adequate arrangement of ICU beds in the entire state, the CM also emphasised on focus testing and said that medical testing should be carried out with full capacity and efforts should also be made to increase it.

People should also be motivated to use masks and public address systems should be used extensively along with various publicity mediums to spread awareness about Covid-19. People should also be encouraged to follow Covid-19 protocol and wedding ceremonies should not be disturbed.
